1994
- Founding of VB-Leasing International Holding GmbH with its headquarters in Vienna as 100% subsidiary of Österreichische Volksbanken AG
- Founding of LB-Leasing spol. s r.o. in Bratislava
1995
- Further companies founded in Hungary, Slovenia and the Czech Republic
1997
- VR-LEASING AG (company owned by leading lease corporations in the German market) bought 25% (+1) shares of VB-Leasing International Holding GmbH
1999
- Joint venture with Porsche Bank in Croatia
- Takeover of 51% shares of Dolnośląskie Towarzystwo Leasingowe S.A.
2000
- Takeover of the remaining 49% shares of Dolnośląskie Towarzystwo Leasingowe S.A. and a change of the company’s name to Volksbank-Leasing Polska SA
- Founding of Volksbank Leasing Romania
2001
- Founding of Volksbank Leasing BH d.o.o. in Bosnia-Herzegovina
2002
- Introduction of a common superior brand – VB LEASING for all companies belonging to the holding
- Increase of shares of VR-LEASING AG in VB-Leasing International Holding GmbH; now VR-LEASING AG share is 50%
2003
- Founding of VB Leasing d.o.o. in Serbia and Montenegro
